The Grandmother Bike has arrived! It is an Apollo Sandhamn. It is like riding around in the bike equivalence of a comfy armchair. And it is surprisingly easy to get moving, as it is made of aluminium, sometimes I don't even need to paddle, just a little hill downward and it spins along forever.
We took it out for its premiere run yesterday, and said hello to some horses, and today we took a longer tour, stopped for a pause and witnessed the makings of "farmers eggs" (bondeägg) you know those white plastic "eggs" with hay inside of them that you can see lying around on fields. This truly is a beautiful place.
