Moving

I am thinking/trying out switching my Friday Studios shop to its own page apart from etsy for various reasons, cost being one. This page is through BigCartel witch helps with a lot of the setup and the "shop" stuff.
Have a look, say what you think, buy some yarn! :)

Bunnies

I have arranged with a breeder, two of these are going to be ours!!! Two little males, one white and one black or grey. Look at those cuties!!!

Giant

Giant rabbit cage purchased! Ok, the home built thing got canceled at least for now. To many ideas - to  little rabbit knowledge. But I think they will love this cage. It is 215 x 78 x 100 cm, and you can give the rabbits separate "bedrooms" or keep them separate all together if nessesary. Now I just need some rabbits.  :)

Angora

I am thinking about, well actually more than thinking about, getting angora rabbits! Husband is with me, and we are looking for two bunnies and planning a home built, out door, luxury bunny home. :) I am so looking forward to this, its making my happy.
The angora rabbit is the breed that we get the beautifully soft and warm angora fiber from, so I am planning to shear them and spin yarn from the wool to, after I have spoiled them and petted them a lot.

Flannel - Flanell

I know how this sounds, really I do, and really I don't care. I sewed some new and improved menstrual pads. After my first tries I decided to buy some more/better materials and do lots of them. These are made from flannel, PUL which is a thin waterproof material and bamboo/cotton fleece as the absorbent core, fastened which my new KAM plastic snaps. I just want to say, there is a reason for my madness, these fabric pads are more comfortable, more absorbent and so much more happy and colorful than the commercial ones! That is all and that is enough. :)

Girllls

Check out the new "The Knit Girllls" podcast episode: 104 Nobody likes the Gusset!
Friday Studios might be mentioned... Yay!!! I am the European local stripy person! It is around the 50 min mark if you do not want to watch the whole thing, which I can not imagine why you would not. I love there podcast, even when they do not mention me. ;)
And they are giving away a skein of my stripy sock yarn, go over there and have a look and join the competition. :)
